This work brings together multiple forms — symbols, patterns, and fragments from my marae held side by side.

Fish, line, and repetition move across the surface, creating a rhythm that feels ordered but organic. Each section carries its own presence, yet everything is connected.

Painted over newspaper, the work holds both the everyday and the symbolic at once. What feels older and more enduring is a current, passing, beneath what is now.

There is a fullness here. Not excess, but completion — where elements hold together.
